Samriddhi Enterprises ("we", "us", "our") operates samriddhiclothing.com ("the Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit the Site or purchase from us. It is published in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rules thereunder.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, PIN code.
  • Order information: products ordered, quantities, prices, payment method, order history, customer support communications.
  • Payment information: UPI transaction IDs and bank reference numbers as confirmed by our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or banking passwords on our servers.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, cookies and analogous identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Processing orders, payments, deliveries and returns.
  • Communicating order status, shipping updates, support responses, and refund/return notifications.
  • Maintaining account history, transaction records, and statutory invoicing (GST compliance).
  • Improving the Site, analysing usage patterns, preventing fraud and ensuring security.
  • Marketing communications — only if you have opted in.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the lawful grounds set out in the DPDP Act — primarily your consent (for marketing) and the necessity of processing for purposes including: performance of the contract you enter into when ordering from us, compliance with legal obligations (such as taxation and invoicing), and our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Site.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share personal data only with carefully selected service providers who help us operate. These include:

  • Payment gateways — for processing UPI payments and refunds.
  • Logistics partners — to deliver your orders.
  • Email and SMS providers — for transactional notifications.
  • Government authorities — only as required by law (for example, GST filings or in response to lawful requests).

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your bag, measure site analytics (Google Analytics 4), and improve the experience. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some Site features may not function correctly without them.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes outlined here, comply with our legal obligations (for example, GST invoice retention for the period prescribed by law), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After this period, your data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction or update of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time;
  • Request erasure of your data, subject to retention requirements;
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
  • Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 10).

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, restricted access to administrative systems, and secure storage practices. Despite reasonable safeguards, no system on the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Samriddhi Clothing is intended for adults purchasing menswear (including boys' clothing on their child's behalf). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, as required by the DPDP Act.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, in line with the IT Rules and the DPDP Act.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
